Why can’t they love our bombs?

In honor of Dr. King, I want to remind us of something he certainly would have.

2015 begins the 25th year of our bombing of Iraq–yes, 25–the 15th of our bombing of Afghanistan.

Why can’t they see the love? Why don’t they love us back?

Our British cousins were already bombing “recalcitrant Mesopotamian chiefs” in the 1920s.

“When the greatest purveyor of violence in the world is my own government, I cannot be silent.”
Martin Luther King, Jr.
